Welcome Back!
I hope you all had an enjoyable, relaxing summer break. I'm looking forward to a great school year.
Sixth Grade: The sixth grade students will be studying many intresting topics this year. Forces and Energy, Matter and Energy in Living Systems, Relationships in Ecosystems, Weather and Climate, Engineering and Science jsut to name a few. They will begin with Scientific Method and lab safety. Since the sixth grade will be going to Frost Valley I will also cover abiotic and biotic and forests before the trip.

Seventh Grade: Welcome back! In seventh grade this year ww will be learning about the Properties of Matter, Changing Properties of Matter, Cells and the Structures of Life, Geology, just to name a few of the many topics we will be covering. We will beging with Scientific Method and Lab  Safety.

Eighth Grade: Welcome Back: This year we will be studying the Living Environment with a Regents given in June.  The Students will need to complete many Labs this year. All labs will written up, graded, and saved. The first Lab will be on Lab Safety duing the month of September.  Some topics we will be covering are Growth and Development and Reproduction of Organisms, Evolution, Natural Selection, Adaptations.Ecology, Biomes, Food Chains and Webs, to name a few.

Your child will have many assignments or notes given in their google classrooms for each subject. Please remind them to check their classrooms often for assignments or announcements. Each teacher will have their on google classroom, please make sure they join all!
