Kerry Kahn (Principal)

Welcome to the Website of Long Beach Catholic Regional School. Please feel free to peruse the website to learn about the history of the school, its mission, curriculum, students, faculty, staff and programs that are offered. LBCRS is supported by three parishes: St. Ignatius Martyr (Long Beach), St. Mary of the Isle (Lido Beach) and Our Lady of Miraculous Medal (Point Lookout).

Founded in 1954, our school continues to enrich the lives of the children who live on the barrier island and beyond. We also welcome students from Atlantic Beach, Lawrence, Island Park, Oceanside, Baldwin and Freeport.  All students are afforded an spiritually rich education offering excellence in all areas of the curriculum.  Our AIS  programs offer students added individualized support along with classroom interventions. We also offer Enrichment programs and a wide array of afterschool and athletic programs for students in Grades 2-8. We take great pride in having the first Surf Team as a Catholic Elementary school on Long Island!

This year, in order to further amplify the Catholic identity of our school community, LBCRS will be adding the new and dynamic position of Campus Minister.  The overall goal of the Campus Minister is to bring LBCRS students into direct contact with Christ and to offer support to our students, faculty and staff while attempting to make our entire school community more involved with our Catholic identity.

Our doors are always open to any prospective students and of course to alumni who would like to take a stroll down memory lane and see all the great things going on at LBCRS! Please call the main office at 432-8900 or email if you have any questions about becoming a member of the LBCRS family!
